More oysters at Source in Bristol
On the 20th November we are celebrating the Oyster here at Source. From breakfast through to early evening we are shucking hundreds of Oysters from around the UK and France. Come and try the different types and enjoy a glass of wine or local stout to match. For those not a fan of the raw Oyster we are also offering cooked and smoked Oysters in addition to our usual Saturday menus.
We have lined up Colchester Natives, Helford Natives, Fowey, Yealm, Exe (all Rocks) and are waiting for a couple of others to confirm amounts. We are hoping to get some from Brittany too. Tasting notes are going to be given out and wines provided by Vine Trail are going to be matched and sold as a tasting accompaniment. Ross, our chef is making lots of great things in the café such as an Oyster terrine. Liz, our pastry chef will be making a dessert using the oyster shell as a chocolate mould.
