Love food? This could be the festival for you
This weekend the increasingly popular Love Food Festival will be back in Bristol.
On Sunday, February 13, expect “love” to be even more prominent than usual at the event, which is held at Paintworks on Bath Road (the A4, near Temple Meads station) from 10.30am to 4pm.
It’s a day-before-the-dreaded-Valentine’s-Day special – and the market will be full of food and gifts made for you, the organisers say… wait for it…. “with love”!
Organiser Lorna Knapman said: “Last years event was an absolute stunner with loads of you enjoying the February sunshine – yes it’s possible!
“The very wonderful Dearlove String Quartet will be returning to entertain your ears during afternoon tea which will be served on fine vintage china in the Love Café which will be beautifully decked out with stunning art and beautiful flowers.
“Children will be able to perfect their cooking skills in the demo area, turn their hands to some fabulous art and craft activities with the brilliant Ooodle Doodle or take part in the world famous love food pancake race!
“The picnic area will boast gorgeous food and drink with a few aphrodisiac numbers thrown in for good measure – as if anymore love was needed.”
Entry is free. To find out a bit more about the event, visit the website here.
